Chancel Choir

Music Ministry

The Chancel Choir meets on Tuesdays 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Music Room of Parish
Hall. We consist of youth through adults. We present special offertory music at the 10:30 a.m. services. We include instrumentalists in our musical offerings.

Our instrumental library includes Orff instruments, percussion and tone chimes that we enjoy playing for services. Our music director also works with the Sunday School youth, grades 5-7 on various Sunday mornings from 9:30-9:55 a.m. Our Sunday School program includes other activities for all ages such as lessons, crafts, and a Christmas pageant.

Spirit Song is the praise and worship team for the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Contemporary
worship service. The team of musicians, A/V techs, and vocalists play a wide assortment of contemporary music and traditional hymns to create a meaningful musical ministry that is an integral part of this exciting service.

The group is currently looking for new members -- so if you are interested in learning more about the team or sharing your time and talents as a vocalist, keyboard player or with A/V production, please contact our Contemporary Worship Leader, Steve Dooley at spiritsong@stpaulslutherville.org.

You can join the team and participate every week or you can participate occasionally at special events or as your schedule allows. You don’t have to be a member of St. Paul’s church to be part of the team.

The group plays each Sunday at the 9:00 a.m. service and at assorted special events.
Rehearsals are on Mondays at 6:45 p.m. in Spangler Hall.
