Chancel Choir

Music Ministry

Children's Community Singers and Ringers meet each Thursday from 7:00-7:30 p.m. during the school year. The group currently includes grades K-5 but all ages above kindergarten children are welcome. You do not need to be a member of St. Paul's church. We enjoy fellowship, singing, and playing tone chimes.

Adults and older youth are welcome and needed for our Chancel Choir that meets on Thursdays from 7:45-9:00 p.m. We sing a four part anthem for the 11:00 a.m. service each Sunday. You do not need to read music - all are welcome! If you would like to join us on a 'try-out' or seasonal basis, please feel free to come any Thursday. We also welcome instrumentalists who would like to offer their talents to our music program.

Anyone interested in learning more about the Children's Community Singers and Ringers or the Chancel Choir should contact our Director of Music, Elaine Lindsay (elnlndsy@earthlink.net).

Spirit Song is the praise and worship team for the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Contemporary
worship service. The team of musicians, A/V techs, and vocalists play a wide assortment of contemporary music and traditional hymns to create a meaningful musical ministry that is an integral part of this exciting service.

The group is currently looking for new members -- so if you are interested in learning more about the team or sharing your time and talents as a vocalist, keyboard player or with A/V production, please contact our Contemporary Worship Leader, Steve Dooley at spiritsong@stpaulslutherville.org.

You can join the team and participate every week or you can participate occasionally at special events or as your schedule allows. You don’t have to be a member of St. Paul’s church to be part of the team.

The group plays each Sunday at the 9:00 a.m. service and at assorted special events.
Rehearsals are on Mondays at 6:45 p.m. in Spangler Hall.
