The Tuesday Bible study is set to resume in September and continue throughout the fall until Christmastime. Our study together this session is called Love Carved in Stone, which is a fresh look at the covenant of the 10 Commandments in the Hebrew Scriptures. Each gathering begins with an exploration of one of the Ten Words in its biblical context. From there we consider a moment from Jesus’ life that shows us how he lived out that Word. We then consider the Word for our own lives and contexts.
Beginning on Tuesday, September 24th and continuing on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, you are welcome to come for one or for all of this 6-session study! We gather at either 12:30pm-1:30pm (you’re welcome to bring a lunch and eat together at noon), or from 7:30pm-8:30pm. Both sessions are held in the Spangler Hall Lounge. No previous knowledge or study of the Bible is needed to participate!
There is a participant study guide that is available in advance of the first session in the church office, or you can wait to pick one up on September 24th – a donation of $10 is welcome (but not required) to cover the cost of the book.
