Eileen Kelley-WarnerInterim Pastor
Pastor Eileen began to serve in the role of interim Pastor in mid-March of 2024 during a time of transition at St. Paul’s. She holds a doctorate in pastoral care and counseling and has particular experience in grief counseling. Most recently, she served as the lead chaplain at Carroll Lutheran Village, where she found creative ways to bring residents together and find solace through their faith, amid intense loneliness and grief during the COVID-19 pandemic. Pastor Eileen also brings experience as an interim pastor, having served in that role at three different churches: Faith Lutheran Church in Cockeysville, the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Bel Air, and at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Baltimore.

She has shared that one of her greatest joys is working with children. About half of her years in ministry have been devoted to ministering children and youth, including time spent as a religion classroom instructor at St. John’s Episcopal Church and School. As such, she said she is particularly excited to meet and work with the young families in St. Paul’s Church and Preschool. Pastor Eileen impressed our Congregational Council as being very warm and approachable, and as a Pastor who will draw upon a deep well of faith as she leads us during this important time of transition.
